The following Departments offer additional scholarships to international students:
Department of Agronomy, Food, Natural resources, Animals and Environment (DAFNAE)
- 3 scholarships for the Master’s degree in Italian Food and Wine
- 6 scholarships for the Master’s degree in Sustainable Agriculture.
The amount of each scholarship is €5,760.37 per academic year. The Scholarship is granted for two (2) academic years.
Department of Biomedical Sciences
- 1 scholarship for the Master’s degree in Food and Health
The amount of the scholarship is €5,000.00 per academic year. The scholarship is granted for one (1) academic year.
Department of Comparative Biomedicine and Food Science (BCA)
- 1 scholarship for the Bachelor's degree in Animal Care
- 1 scholarship for the Master's degree in Biotechnologies for food science
The amount of each scholarship is €2,400.00. The Scholarship is granted for one (1) academic year.
Department of Industrial Engineering (DII)
- 2 scholarships for the Master's degree in Energy Engineering
The amount of the scholarship is €7,500.00 The Scholarship is granted for one (1) academic year.
Department of Information Engineering (DEI)
- 2 scholarships for the Master's degree in ICT for Internet and Multimedia,
- 2 scholarships for the Master's degree in Computer Engineering
- 2 scholarships for the Master's degree in Control Systems Engineering
- 1 scholarship for the Bachelor's degree in Information Engineering
The amount of each scholarship is €5,500.00. The Scholarship is granted for one (1) academic year.
Department of Land, Environment, Agriculture and Forestry (TESAF)
- 1 scholarship for the Master’s degree in Forest Science
- 1 scholarship for the Master’s degree in Food and Health
The amount of each scholarship is €5,500.00 per academic year. The scholarship is granted for one (1) academic year.
Department of Mathematics “Tullio Levi-Civita” (DM)
- 2 scholarships for the Master’s degree in Cybersecurity
- 2 scholarships for the Master’s degree in Data Science
- 2 scholarships for the Master's degree in Computer Science
The amount of each scholarship is €5,530.00 per academic year. The scholarship is granted for two (2) academic years.
Department of Medicine
- 1 scholarship for the single-cycle degree in Medicine and Surgery
- 1 scholarship for the Master’s degree in Food and Health
The amount of each scholarship is €5,500.00 per academic year. The scholarship is granted for one (1) academic year.
Department of Physics and Astronomy (DFA)
- 2 scholarships for the Master’s degree in Astrophysics and Cosmology
- 2 scholarships for the Master’s degree in Physics of Data.
The amount of each scholarship is €8,000.00 per academic year. The scholarship is granted for two (2) academic years.
Department of Political Science, Law, and International Studies (SPGI)
- 2 scholarships for the Master's degree in Human Rights and Multi-level Governance
- 2 scholarships for the Master's degree in European and Global Studies
The amount of each scholarship is €5,760.37. The Scholarship is granted for one (1) academic year.
How to appy: you can be considered for the selection procedure, under penalty of exclusion, if you:
- do not possess an Italian citizenship (except for dual citizenship including Italian);
- hold a non-Italian secondary school diploma (for Bachelor's degree applicants) or a non-Italian Bachelor's degree (for Master's degree applicants);
- do not already reside in Italy;
- apply to one or more degree programmes completely taught in English mentioned above. Please remember that you can apply up to 3 degree programmes.
If you meet these requirements, you will be automatically considered for the selection procedure. There is no separate application or additional specific documents to be submitted besides those required to apply for the selected degree programme.
Selection criteria: the Academic Commitee of each degree programme selects the candidates eligible for the scholarship on the basis of their academic excellence and premise in the proposed field of study, academic quality and results of prior learning.
Selection results: all selection results will be published at www.unipd.it/en/assessement-results according to the following timeline:
- starting from 10th March 2021 - for open access degree programmes (application period: 2nd November 2020 – 2nd February 2021);
- starting from 8th April 2021 - for limited access degree programmes (application period: 7th January – 7th March 2021);
- after the publication of the IMAT test results - for the single-cycle degree in Medicine and Surgery.
