The Advanced Placement (AP) Scholarships are designed to recognize outstanding students who have achieved a minimum score of 4 on five or more full-year (or-equivalent) courses.

Eligibility

Candidates must:

be entering an undergraduate degree program from high school at the University of Alberta in September 2017
achieve one of the top 25 AP final scores based on five or more full-year (or equivalent) courses

How to apply

To be considered for an Advanced Placement Scholarship students must provide the Registrar's Office with a transcript of their Advanced Placement grades by August 1.

Students that are considered for the Advanced Placement Scholarship will also have their AP final scores applied to their admission average for reconsideration of Academic Excellence.

Notification

We notify successful applicants of the competition results in early September. Scholarship funds for successful applicants will be applied to your student account upon confirmation of full-time registration at the University of Alberta in September 2017.
