Summer Programmes COVID-19 FAQs
Update from King's Summer Programmes
COVID-19 UPDATE: At present, we are still planning to run our summer programmes and we are continuing to process applications. We will advise you if this changes. It is likely that we will need to make some adjustments to modules, and if this happens, we will notify you. Please check this page regularly for updates for Summer 2020.
What if I am unable to travel due to COVID-19?
If you have accepted your place and paid your fees but are concerned about the effect that COVID-19 may have on your ability to attend your summer programme, you currently have three options:
- Wait and see until there is clarification on summer teaching at King’s. We expect a decision to be made towards the end of April and will write to you then to explain next steps.
- You can immediately request that your place on the programme is deferred until summer 2021.
- You can request a full refund of fees.
Contact us via your King’s Apply account.
Am I able to transfer from session one to session two if my academic term at home is extended?
Yes, subject to module availability on later sessions. Just send through confirmation from your home institution to show that you are unable to travel on the originally booked dates.
What should I do if I am unable to get a certificate to prove my English proficiency?
In circumstances where you are unable to obtain a certificate due to COVID-19 disruption, please contact us via your King’s Apply account and we will consider your individual case.
