This course is a full immersion interdisciplinary design-thinking-based experience that will address both the context of sex- and gender-sensitive health as well as your role as a provider/professional in the field.
Target group
They welcome participants already working in or studying (at Masters level) to work in the field of health, spanning from basic biomedical research, to clinical to public health and social medicine. We aim for an international and interdisciplinary group that will inspire and challenge each other to broaden their perspective and (future) practice.
Course aim
After this course you are able to:
- Understand the concepts of sex and gender and their impact on health.
- Identify how sex and gender affect your own research/health care practice.
- Apply concepts of sex and gender analysis to health (care) problems.
- Critically reflect on your role as a professional towards sex and gender sensitive healthcare.
