FINANCIAL AID PROGRAM FOR THE CITIZENS OF KAZAKHSTAN
Scholarships for “International Journalism” (MAIJ), “Economics” (MAE), “Public and Municipal Administration” (MPMA), “International Relations” (MIR) applicants
Tuition coverage: 100% and 50% tuition coverage
Period of covering: 2017-2018 academic year
Quantity: 2 scholarships in the form of 100% of tuition coverage and 6 scholarships in the form of 50% of tuition coverage for each program
Student’s citizenship: Kazakhstan
Selection criteria:
- 1st intake: The highest result for Graduate Competition
- 2nd intake:
- Excellent English Proficiency (requiring no KIMEP University Foundation Courses);
- Interview results;
- Results of state program exams are “pass/fail” option;
- Additional criteria can be applied

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR CURRENT GRADUATE STUDENTS
Academic Merit Scholarships for current graduate students
Tuition coverage: 50% tuition coverage
Period of covering: 2017-2018 academic year
Quantity: 20 scholarships (2 per one program)
Student’s citizenship: any
Selection criteria:
- A minimum of 12 credits earned at KIMEP University
- High level of Grade Point Average (GPA >=3.50)
- Without “I” grades in the transcript (Incomplete)
- A minimum of 9 credits remaining to graduate.
- Additional criteria can be applied
- The distribution is based on GPA after Spring 2017 semester.
Required documents: to fill in the on-line application for KIMEP University Scholarship on student portal and apply within application deadlines.
Deadlines: from March 1 to June 3, 2017.
