Food Security Center Scholarships
FSC invites outstanding Post-Docs, PhD and Master students from both developing and developed countries pursuing a career in academia or development collaboration to apply for one of its offered scholarships.
Applicants should be interested in an interdisciplinary and international (post-) graduate education in food security relevant issues. The scholarships aim at increasing their previously gained scientific knowledge and skills relevant to food security-related issues. Finally, FSC aims at establishing an active, long-lasting collaboration with the supported researchers and their home institutions through an interactive alumni-network.
All scholars will be selected on a competitive basis and invitations will be sent after the selection process.
Women are explicitly encouraged to apply for a scholarship.
The long-term scholarship offered by FSC is called "Excellence Scholarship". Applicants from developing countries of the OECD DAC List who are planning to obtain their PhD degree at the University of Hohenheim, Germany, may apply for the "Excellence Scholarship".
Deadline for applying
April 30, 2016
