Doctoral scholarships are awarded by a selection process that is outlined in the call for applications. The amount of the doctoral scholarship is EUR 13,638.47 per year, net of insurance fees owed by the doctoral scholarship holder. The scholarship is exempt from income tax (IRPEF).
The scholarship payment is distributed in monthly instalments.
The doctoral scholarship is renewable on an annual basis for the entire duration of the programme on the condition that holders have completed the programme of activities provided from year to year, verified by the Teachers' Board.
The doctoral scholarship holders are exempt from the enrolment fees and the university fees: these students are only required to pay stamp duty and the regional tax for financial aid.
