The Venice Biennale is the oldest and most prestigious art and architecture show in the world. The Venice Biennale Revealed course allows you to explore this large and complex event in the right way: through meeting the organizers and artists and having intimate conversations with experts and curators.

Target group
Venice Biennale Revealed is perfect for curious creative minds, architects and artists, independent curators and collectors. Art and architecture lovers and students looking for inspiration and knowledge are also welcome. No prior experience is required. On average there are around 11 nationalities per group.

Course aim
The course aims to offer students an insider's knowledge of the Biennale.
ECA will share with you 12 years of experience of organizing national pavilions, collateral, and satellite events in Venice:

  • visit locations that are closed to the public and preview parties*
  • case studies and open conversations give you insights into the structure, funding, and politics of the Biennale.
  • engaging study of best projects providing an infinite source of inspiration
  • lists of names and emails with trusted contacts in Venice, from transportation to catalog printing and venues

Special locations
Together with curators and artists, you are invited to preview parties and see the shows before anyone else.

Venetian experience
You will start mornings with an Italian coffee and on the balcony of a historic Venetian palace, we will take a beautiful boat ride and discover the city's hidden gems.
