About World Leaders Scholarships
Over 5% of the student population at The University of Winnipeg are international students. That is close to 500 people from 68 different countries! The University of Winnipeg is dedicated to ensuring that all students have equal access to higher learning. As a result of this mandate there are support services and programs in place like financial assistance to make that happen.
There are a wide variety of ways to fund your education as an international student. Unless otherwise stated, all full-time and part-time students are eligible for Entrance and In-Course awards as long as they meet the published criteria. In addition to these programs, there are also some specific opportunities available just for international students that we would like to highlight for you. The University of Winnipeg President's Scholarship for World Leaders will be given to international students entering any of the University's divisions for the first time - Undergraduate, Graduate, Collegiate , PACE or ELP. Values range from $3,500-$5,000.
Deadlines to Apply:
March 2, 2015 for Spring 2015
May 4, 2015 for Fall 2015
October 5, 2015 for Winter 2016

Note: The University of Winnipeg will no longer be accepting new loan agreements under the U.S. Direct Loan Program (FAFSA). New students for Spring 2015 or Fall/Winter 2015-16 should seek alternate funding as stated above.
