Mabel Churn Scholarship in Ophthalmology

St Cross College invites applications for the Mabel Churn Scholarship from successful Home/EU applicants who will begin studying at the University of Oxford in the academic year 2019-2020 for a DPhil research degree in theNuffield Department of Clinical Neurosciences (NDCN) in any area of retinal research. Applicants must list St Cross College as their first choice collegeon their Graduate Admissions application form in order to be eligible to apply for this scholarship and are advised that they must apply for a DPhil in Clinical Neurosciences (course code RD_CU1) by the course application deadline of Friday 11th January 2019 in order to be considered for this scholarship.

The Scholarship will cover the annual course fee plus an annual maintenance stipend at the RCUK rate (£14,999 for 2019-20) together with a grant of up to £500 per annum for travel and research expenses, and is tenable for three years coterminous with full fee liability. Applications should be received by the application deadline of midday on Friday 15th March 2019.

The Scholarship is tenable at St Cross College only.  Completed applications and references should be sent to the Admissions and Academic Assistant.
