Leeds University Business School International Doctoral Scholarship
One full scholarship is available for an exceptional international candidate at Leeds University Business School. The scholarship is open to candidates from all of the school's six divisions: Accounting and Finance, Economics, International Business, Management, Marketing and Work and Employment Relations. The scholarship is very competitive, and we are looking for candidates who are able to demonstrate the highest level of academic attainment as well as a promising research proposal.
By starting your PhD in Leeds University Business School, you will join a diverse community of researchers from a variety of academic backgrounds and over 30 different countries. You will contribute fully to the advancement of knowledge within the Business School, which is formed of six academic divisions and numerous cross-disciplinary research centres.
Alongside your research, you will complete a unique training programme that will help you to develop a range of skills that underpin successful achievement in a wide range of future careers, both inside and outside of academia.
Please note that due to the competitive nature of this scholarship, the entry requirements are higher than the standard requirements for entry onto the PhD programme.
Funding details
We are offering one full-time PhD scholarship as follows:
One full-time PhD scholarship for one international candidate covering a maintenance stipend and international tuition fees for three years, subject to satisfactory progress.
Maintenance stipends are paid at the UK Research Council rate (£15,009 in 2019/20, the rate is reviewed annually).
