Based in Geneva, Switzerland, Polixis provides specialized research and consultancy on Political, Country, Compliance and Regulatory risks in emerging markets to a client base mainly drawn from the Banking, Financial and Risk Management industries. Drawing on our market leading expertise on Risk & Compliance research, we are also developing a range of Fintech solutions to our clients needs.

Type of Position and Location

Internship, 6 months (full-time). The intern will be based in Yerevan, Armenia. Occasional travel to our Geneva office for training purposes may be required. Upon completion of successful internship, the prospective intern may be offered a full-time position with the company

Tasks

- The intern will be required to support our team’s work across our two main activities- research & software development. In terms of research, tasks will include, but not limited to:

- Daily monitoring of relevant financial and regulatory news stream coming from MENA markets with a special emphasis on Gulf states;

- Writing of analytical notes and research on political, regulatory, sanction and other risk related topics covering the MENA region;

- Help our software development team in data management.

Your profile

- Keen interest and experience in topics such as interaction between Business and Politics, Political Risk Analysis, Finance and Banking Regulation;

- Native Arabic speaker;

- Excellent writing skills in English.

Shortlisted applicants may be assigned with a trial research work to be conducted in English; -Basic programing skills as well as knowledge of In-Design would be a major asset.

Education

Political Sciences, International Relations, Economics, Journalism or Legal.

- Competitive remuneration- AMD 250’000 monthly allowance with a possibility to later on join the company’s main staff with attractive remuneration package following the completion of the internship;
