It is probably the most unusual art education you will ever have. It makes you revise your place in the contemporary art paradigm, analyze your beliefs, and get involved in projects that triple your level of ambition.
It is a useful exercise for any creative who wants to grow, dream and do.
Danielle Krysa, aka the Jealous Curator (ECA alumna and lecturer) once told us "When you come to Venice and see all these incredible art projects (and some of them are just gigantic), you get really inspired. It expands the notion of what you are capable of. And that's where it starts".
Come to the space that celebrates and nurtures your artistic ambition. Have a meaningful result-oriented experience and discover how big you can grow.
Your final project will be a part of the ECA collective show in Venice. You will exhibit at an international show in a Venetian sculpture garden. The show is organized by our partner European Cultural Centre, the second largest foundation in Venice after the Venice Biennale.

Target group
The course is designed for creative curious minds. Students, curators, museum workers, artists and art lovers are welcome. No prior experience is required. On average there are around 11 nationalities per group.

Course aim
Create meaningful projects:

Together we work on your ideation, concepts, and planning. As a result, you will get a step-by-step plan to realize your dream project in 2021. All without interrupting your career.

Have an insider experience:
For more than 12 years we organise insider experiences that leave a mark on our participants. You get to meet the best experts in Venice, we bring you to locations that are closed to the public.
Last year participants had a private tour at Peggy Guggenheim Collection, got an off-the-record talk from the director of the Bel Air Fine Art gallery, representing Jeff Koons and Damien Hirst in Venice.

Build a professional network:
We developed an educational framework that allows participants to build long-lasting professional relationships leading to projects and friendships.
