Join us this summer and apply legal process improvement, project management and legal design to real world scenarios.

Target group
This program is designed for advanced law students, recent graduates and young professionals who want to look behind the curtain of legal technology and understand how it will impact their careers and the profession as a whole. Industry leaders, prominent researchers and field innovators will share their knowledge in hands-on classes and workshops.

Course aim
Working as part of an international team, you will discover how to get reliable insights from legal data and understand the market mechanics of the legal services industry.

Credits info
10 EC
Though not accredited by the American Bar Association, the program follows the ABA's standards for Student Study at a Foreign Institution to offer you credit for your undertakings; the course has been structured to provide a total of 5 ABA credits (60 hours of classroom time; one credit hour being equivalent to 700 minutes of classroom time).
If you are a European student, you can collect European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) points, which your home university may choose to accept toward your program of study. Successful completion of the program will provide 10 ECTS points.
If you are seeking to transfer credit, be sure to consult with your home institution before committing to the program to ensure that your participation will be recognized. Your academic advisor may be required to approve a foreign course of study in advance of the program.

Fee info
EUR 3900: Participants with student status receive a 50% discount. In addition to tuition, we recommend budgeting at least EUR 1550 for your stay in Hamburg; while all extracurricular activities are provided free of charge for participants, accommodation, travel expenses to/from Hamburg, etc. all come at an additional cost.

Scholarships
You are eligible for a discount off the standard tuition rate if you apply before the Early Bird Deadline, are an alumna/alumnus of Bucerius Law School, or if you are studying at one of Bucerius Law School's partner universities.
