IED Barcelona opens calls to participate in Sholarship Contest Creactívate with which IED would like to discover your talent and offer you a scholarship to join in next academic year 2018/2019.
This year, the topic is:
LET’S DESIGN THE FUTURE
Design a solution to improve our life
The contest is opened to applicants from all nationalities.
Applicants must be under 26 years old when applying for the contest.
The contest comprises the following undergraduate degrees, bachelors and diplomas:
Undergraduate Degrees in Design (240 ECTS, 4 years):
- Fashion Design (Spanish)
- Fashion Design, itinerary Styling and Communication (Spanish)
- Graphic Design (Spanish or English)
- Graphic Design, itinerary Motion Graphics & Video (English)
- Interior Design (Spanish or English)
- Product Design (Spanish or English)
- Transportation Design (Spanish or English)
Bachelor of Arts (Hons) validated by the University of Westminster (3 years):
- BA (Hons) Fashion Design (English)
- BA (Hons) Fashion Marketing and Communication (English)
IED Diplomas (3 years):
- Business Design (English)
- Fashion Marketing and Communication (Spanish)
- Creative Advertising and Branding (English)
One Year Courses:
- Global Design (English)
IED Barcelona’ staff members cannot help you or guide you during the production of your project. It must be an original idea exclusively developed by the applicant. Study Design in IED Barcelona and share school with students from all over the world!
“Let’s Design the Future”
As a designer, what can you contribute to improve the future?
Being a designer means being creative and seeing things that others do not see. That’s why we wonder, what can you contribute to improve the future? From the point of view of the program, you want to apply for, use your mind and creativity to show your best ideas in a project.
Contest Specifications:
The project must meet the following requirements:
Project format:
- 1 single PDF file, DIN A4 size, horizontal format, max. 10 pages.
- PDF file maximum size: 6 MB
Project content:
The PDF file must include:
- Student information (personal data, previous studies, professional background, interests…)
- Motivational letter (250 words approx.)
- Project Title
- Project concept (250 words approx.)
- Project content (Text and/or sketches and/or pictures and/or links to videos)
The projects that do not accomplish these requirements will not be admitted to the contest.
Applicant Requirements:
- To hold a High School Diploma or Vocational Training (or be attending the last year)
- To be no more than 26 years old when applying for the contest
- The contest is available for students from all nationalities
If you meet the requirements, join in! You can win a scholarship covering the 100% of the tuition fee.
Project Submission - Steps to follow:
Step 1. Sign up and fill in the online inscription form
Step 2. Submit your project online
Results publishing:
A committee of professionals and teachers will select the best projects per course. From May 1st to May 17th 2018, the applicants of the selected projects will be called to defend their project during a personal interview (or by Skype because of the geographical distance).
The final result will be announced on the website after the jury’s deliberation on May, 18th 2018. The winners will be contacted by e-mail/phone call as well.
Once the scholarship winners are announced, they will enjoy the tuition fee reduction, as long as when the course begins in September/October, they have the High School Diploma or the Higher Vocational Training Certificate, they have passed the Admission Test (for the Undergraduate Degrees) and they agree (by a written documents) to be the class delegate/representative with a series of specific functions.
IED Barcelona Direction reserves the right to cancel a course in case of not achieving enough students for the opening.
