Admission Criteria for International Students
SolBridge seeks motivated individuals from diverse social, economic, ethnic, and geographic backgrounds, individuals who can bring their own diversity and experience into the classroom.
Each individual application is evaluated on a case-by-case basis taking into account the applicant’s academic records, English proficiency, financial status, personal essay, extra-curricular activities, and letters of recommendation.
Admission is selective and students are urged to apply as early as possible to ensure sufficient time for application review, visa processing, and moving preparations.
Undergraduate applicants who provide English proficiency scores that meet admission criteria and pass the online interview will be considered for regular admission. Scores lower than general admission requirements may qualify for conditional acceptance based on the strength of the online interview. In such cases, students may be required to take additional English classes as electives during their first semester at SolBridge.
A SolBridge application form can be found in the Admissions Application Form section of the official website.
SolBridge International School of Business offers financial aid in the form of admission scholarships. Scholarships are granted on a case by case basis depending on the applicant’s English level, academic standing, and extra-curricular activities. Admission scholarships are given for tuition only and typically range from 30% to 70% of the cost of tuition. In extraordinary circumstances, a financial grant of 100% may be granted
Duration of the Admission Scholarship
Admissions Scholarships are valid for the following periods:
- BBA Regular Student – 1 year
- BBA Transfer Student – 1 semester
- MBA Regular Student – 1 semester
- MBA Transfer Student – 1 semester
Once their Admissions Scholarship expires, students can maintain their initial scholarships by earning a GPA of 3.6/4.5 or higher. This is the Merit-Based Scholarship. Additional scholarship may be awarded through the Merit-Based scholarship based upon your GPA at SolBridge.
All scholarships are tuition based. There is no financial aid available for cost of living expenses. This includes the dormitory, costs of meals, books, medical insurance, student activity fees, and other living expenses. Even if an applicant is granted a scholarship, they still must be able to provide for their other expenses.
Applicants wishing to apply for scholarship should download the Scholarship Application form, fill it out (typed), write the scholarship essay only, and attach the scholarship application form and essay along with their application.
