For 2016-2017 the Cardiff School of Modern Languages (Cardiff University) is offering 2 competitive full-fee scholarships for Home and EU students (and an equivalent contribution towards fees for International students), each worth £6,000 - pro rata part time. The funding amount is provided by the Santander Universities Programme Scholarship (£5,000) and by the School of Modern Languages, Cardiff University (£1,000).
In 2016-2017 we will be offering the following taught Master’s Degrees which are eligible for scholarship funding:
- MA European Studies
- MA Translation Studies
Applicants from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rice, Uruguay, Venezuela, Spain and Portugal are eligible for funding. Students who are citizens of one of the listed countries but are currently studying at a British University may also apply.

Funding
These two studentships are generously funded by Santander Universities Funding. It consists of two awards for students of Hispanic origin.
The scholarships consist of a full-fee scholarship for UK/EU students, or an equivalent contribution towards the fees for International students.
Each scholarship is worth £6,000 pro-rata part-time.
Eligibility
Residency Criteria:This funding opportunity is only open to applicants from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rice, Uruguay, Venezuela, Spain and Portugal. Students who are citizens of the listed countries but are currently studying at a British University may also apply.
Academic Criteria: Applicants should have a 2:1 or higher in a relevant subject. Applications are welcomed from graduates in any humanities discipline.
Please note you will not be eligible for funding until you are in receipt of an offer to study at Cardiff University.
