Scholarships at Koç University for International Students
Koç University prides itself in offering extensive scholarship packages for high caliber international and national undergraduate and graduate students that meet our selective admissions criteria.
Undergraduate International Scholarships
To be considered for a scholarship:
- If you wish to be considered for a scholarship make sure that you complete and submit the required documents in the online application form under the “Scholarship” section available
- Submitting an application without the required exam scores (SAT/ACT, IB, A-Levels or others) significantly diminishes your admission chances and therefore your scholarship chances.
- All admitted students are first evaluated for a merit-based scholarship by the Admissions Committee on the basis of academic merit only (need-blind). These scholarships can be awarded for 25%, 50% or 100% of the annual tuition for the duration of the program. Merit-based scholarships do not include any other benefits (housing, living expenses, books, etc).
- If an admitted student is not awarded an academic merit scholarship and has indicated on the online application form that they wish to be evaluated for a scholarship, then they are evaluated by a Scholarships Committee who may award a 25% or 50% annual tuition scholarship for the duration of the program. Need-based scholarships do not include any other benefits (housing, living expenses, books, etc).
- Scholarship results are communicated to candidates with the admission offer letter from our Registrar’s Office via email in the dates indicated here.

Graduate International Scholarships (Master)
To be considered for a scholarship:
- Complete and submit the online application form for your Master with Thesis or Master without Thesis program of interest with all the required documents.
- Submitting an application without the required exam scores (GRE/GMAT, TOEFL) significantly diminishes your admission chances and therefore your scholarship chances.
- All admitted Master with Thesis students are awarded a 100% merit-based scholarships by the relevant Graduate School. Merit-based scholarships may also include other benefits (housing, living expenses, health insurance) depending on the Graduate School. Please note that LLM program are not included in this category.
- Master without Thesis students admitted to programs in the Graduate School of Business (MBA, MIM, MSc Finance) may request a tuition only scholarship by emailing the Graduate School.
- Scholarship results are communicated to candidates with the admission offer letter from the relevant Graduate School via email in the dates indicated on their respective websites under “Admission”.
- For specific Master scholarships based on citizenship please visit the pages under “Scholarships”.
Graduate International Scholarships (Ph.D.)
To be considered for a scholarship:
- Complete and submit the online application form for your Ph.D. program of interest with all the required documents. There are NO SEPARATE SCHOLARSHIP FORMS.
- Submitting an application without the required exam scores (GRE/GMAT, TOEFL) significantly diminishes your admission chances and therefore your scholarship chances.
- All admitted Ph.D. students are awarded a 100% merit-based scholarships by the relevant Graduate School. Merit-based scholarships may also include other benefits (housing, living expenses, health insurance) depending on the Graduate School.
- Scholarship results are communicated to candidates with the admission offer letter from the relevant Graduate School via email in the dates indicated on their respective websites under “Admission”.
