Vacancies for PhD Positions
The Interuniversity Center for Social Science Theory and Methodology ICS offers fully funded PhD scholarships for a variety of projects. The PhD students will be appointed for a three or four-year period, with a formal evaluation at the end of the first year or after one year and a half. In this period the graduates will work on their individual project, leading to a doctoral dissertation. The program (fully taught in English) will start September 1st, 2017
Requirements
Excellent candidates who recently graduated or will graduate shortly in Sociology are invited to apply. Graduates in Psychology, Educational Sciences, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related disciplines are also encouraged to apply.
Conditions of employment
The generous scholarship amounts to appr. € 2191,- before taxes in the first year of the appointment, increasing to appr. € 2801,- before taxes in the fourth year. Tution fees do not apply.
How to apply
Applications, online only through the ICS website, can be submitted until May 10th, 2017. Interviews will be conducted on June 12th and June13th, 2017 in Utrecht.
