Call for two talented interns to DDG’s headquarter office in Copenhagen

Danish Demining Group (DDG) is a Humanitarian Mine Action and Armed Violence Reduction Unit within the Danish Refugee Council (DRC). DRC is a non-profit organisation that works worldwide to help and protect refugees, internally displaced and other conflict-affected persons.

The DDG mission is to create a safe environment where people can live free from armed violence and remnants of conflict. DDG strives to achieve this through Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) activities, focusing on landmines and explosive remnants of war (ERW), as well as Armed Violence Reduction (AVR) programmes. The AVR component of our programming addresses both physical and psycho-social aspects of the threats posed by small arms and ERW. DDG’s work is vital in helping refugees, IDPs and other communities return to their homes when the conflict has ended, allowing them to make use of the  land they were forced to leave behind and facilitating development.
