Inbound Study Abroad Scholarship
Every year, Curtin University welcomes students from all nationalities into its study abroad programs. This scholarship aims to encourage more of these inbound study abroad students to choose Curtin for their Australian study experience.

This scholarship provides eligible students 25% of their first semester, or first two semesters' tuition fee.
Eligible courses
Any eligible NFD Study Abroad program, fulltime, Western Australia, must be commenced in 2017
Eligibility criteria
This scholarship is only for:
- International, non-sponsored, students participating in Curtin’s Inbound Study Abroad program
- Students commencing studies at Curtin’s Western Australia campuses in 2017
- Students enrolled at a home institution participating with Curtin in a study abroad program
Please note that this scholarship:
- Is not available to Australian citizens
- Only applies to the duration of study applicable to the recipient’s individual study abroad program
- Is available for any eligible not for degree (NFD) Study Abroad Program
- Covers a maximum of 25% of the first semester or first two semesters’ tuition fees
- Only covers tuition fees and does not cover any other international student expense
- Only applies to the recipient’s originally chosen study abroad program
- Is calculated on the length of the recipient’s initially chosen study abroad program
- Cannot be extended if the recipient chooses to extend the duration of their original study abroad program
- Will be credited to recipient’s fee account at commencement of studies and cannot be accessed by them
- Can be revoked at the discretion of Curtin if recipient already has a scholarship or sponsorship
- Cannot be retained if a recipient defers their studies beyond a 2017 start date
- Cannot be transferred to a Curtin campus or partner outside Western Australia, or to another university
- Can be revoked if the recipient does not accept their Letter of Offer or enrol in their course by the date specified
Conditions that need to be met to keep your scholarship
To prevent the scholarship being revoked, the recipient:
- Must remain enrolled in initial study abroad program unless approved by Curtin International
- Must maintain a full time enrolment each semester or study period
- Cannot breach the scholarship conditions outlined in this document
- Cannot take a leave of absence or withdraw from their units or course of study
- Cannot be terminated from studies
