Scholarships for International Non-Degree/Study Abroad Students

Students who receive federal or institutional financial aid at their home universities may be able to apply these funds to their program costs at AUC. Applicants should meet with their study abroad advisors to learn about opportunities for transferring aid to AUC. To support students financing their own study abroad or to help supplement institutional aid, AUC offers the following scholarships to international non-degree/study abroad students:

How to Apply

  1. You must first submit an online study abroad application in order to receive an AUC student ID number that you can use to complete a scholarship application. To access the study abroad application and instructions, click here. Note that if you are applying to AUC’s intensive Arabic program, you must complete the application under the section titled: Arabic Language Institute.

  2. Once you submit your application, you will receive an acknowledgment email from the admissions office that includes your AUC ID number. With this ID number, complete the scholarship application through Banner Self-Service under the Financial Aid and Scholarships Applications section. For application instructions and tips, click here.

  • Important Note: While applying to a scholarship, ensure that the word SELECT appears beside the scholarship name (fund) for which you wish to apply, otherwise, AUC will not be able to recognize your application.

3. For scholarships that require an essay or faculty recommendations, send these materials by email in one PDF file with your name/ID number to the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships.
