The next UNLEASH Innovation Lab will take place in the state of Karnataka in India, from the December 3rd – 11th (tentatively). The lab will gather 1,000 young people between the ages of 18 and 35 to come up with innovative solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
It will primarily take place at Infosys Mysore, the world’s largest corporate university!
During the Lab, teams of participants will come up with new ideas and co-create innovative initiatives through human-centered design thinking – a process that focuses on the real needs of the people that the solution focuses on. Experienced facilitators and experts will guide the participants through different stages of the innovation process:

- Defining a problem based on user needs and clear insights

- Brainstorming and selecting ideas to solve the problem

- Prototyping
- Creating simple versions of the idea to understand how it will work in real life

- Testing the solution with users, learning, and adapting

- Implementing
- Planning and launching impactful solutions
As a participant of the Global Innovation Lab India, you will get a hands-on opportunity to work on some of the most pressing global sustainability challenges. The challenges are divided into 7 thematic tracks that tackle specific SDGs. In addition, there is a special track for the UNLEASH Plus 2022 program, co-hosted with Chemonics International, in which selected top teams will work with international experts and pitch the projects they have been working on for the previous 6 months to potential funders.

The Global Innovation Lab India is open to young people between the ages of 18 and 35. We select participants that are:
