Joint Master in Political Science - Integration and Governance (PoSIG)
The Joint Master PoSIG offers the students the opportunity to receive a joint diploma with at least one EU partner University signing it. Prospective students shall read below the documents to be submitted during the first phase of applications. Applications will be opened from 15 February till 15 April 2018 to all interested students who already obtained at least a Bachelor’s degree in political science and/or closely related fields (180 ECTS) and have at least 15 ECTS of methodology courses. Students that have not yet got their BA can apply and their admission will be conditional upon obtaining a BA before 31 of August 2018.
Each application has to specify the selected fields of specialization.
- Each application has to include following documents:
- Application form;
- CV;
- English language certificate or proof that BA level studies included at least 2 semesters in English;
- Copy of the Diploma and transcript of records;
- 2 Letters of reference (at least one should be an academic reference).
The evaluation criteria also include an interview and knowledge of English language.
Students are required to attend the following institutions for at least one term: the University of Ljubljana and/or the University of Salzburg during their first year of study and at least one other EuroPS University Partners in their second year of study in the Western Balkans.

University of Salzburg (PLUS) (all courses in German):
- Forschungsdesign Politikwissenschaft (Lecture with 3 ECTS, spring term);
- Qualitative Methodology (Seminar with 6 ECTS, spring term;
- Quantitative Methodology in Social Sciences (Lecture with 3 ECTS, winter term);
- Quantitative Methodology in Political Science (Seminar with 6 ECTS, winter term).
University of Ljubljana (ULju) (all courses in English and Slovenian):
- Research Design – Methods I (6 ECTS, winter term);
- Quantitative Methods – Methods II (6 ECTS, spring term).
How to Apply
The call for applications for the academic year 2018/2019 is now open. Please note that applications will be processed on an on-going basis.
If selected, please note that you will have to provide the PoSIG Coordinators’ Board with the originals of your university degree and transcript of records. Applicants completing the degree entry requirements subsequently to the application deadline are requested to provide a current transcript of records. Admittance into the programme is conditional upon documentation of completion of studies prior the beginning of the new academic year (31 August 2018).
All candidates will be contacted via email after the selection process is completed. The shortlisted candidates will be notified in early May 2018 for interviews.

STEP 1 - Application form
Only applications submitted through the form provided on website (after you login) and will be considered.
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
The entire application, including the motivation and the CV has to be submitted in English. Please also include a non-certified English translation of the required proofs, if the original certificates were not issued in English.

- Proof of payment of application fee (You have two options to make the payment via international bank transfer. Please choose only one of the options to make the payment. Scan copy of your bank transfer)
- Additionally you will be guided to a questionnaire asking you for the "Fields of Specialization and Mobility Options" for your studies

STEP 2 - Application processing fee
In order for your application to be considered it is mandatory that you pay the application-processing fee of 35 (thirty five) Euro and that exact amount should reach PoSIG account.

- Name and surname of the applicant for whom the payment is made
