Entrepreneurship: Theory and Practice
The world changes and we need to redevelop what is made, how it is made, where to sell, how to distribute, all while taking into consideration the consequences for the world around us. The course focuses on the value of entrepreneurship for society and offers valuable lessons for both students who are interested in setting up a business themselves and for students who will employ entrepreneurial skills in other settings during their career.
The world changes and we need to redevelop what is made, how it is made, where to sell, how to distribute, all while taking into consideration the consequences for the world around us. Entrepreneurship is all about creating value, not only in terms of financial returns, but also about improving social and environmental aspects.
Some entrepreneurial people choose to start their own business, but we also need people who seek opportunities for improvement inside larger organizations in business, government, education, and health care.
Topics include: entrepreneurial strategies; ethics; social entrepreneurship; entrepreneurial marketing and entrepreneurial finance.
This course is also the first course of the track "Entrepreneurial Side of Business" (1. Entrepreneurship: Theory and Practice - 2. Strategic Entrepreneurship - 3. Social Entrepreneurship - 4. Entrepreneurial Marketing).
