University of Tartu Master's Scholarships 2017, Estonia

Ministry of Foreign Affairs scholarships for applicants of Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Moldova, Belarus, Azerbaijan and Afghanistan

A limited number of scholarships are available for candidates applying for English taught Master’s programmes at the University of Tartu.

In 2017, stipends are available only for the following Master´s programmes:

  • Computer Science
  • Geoinformatics for Urbanised Society
  • Information Technology Law
  • Robotics and Computer Engineering
  • Software Engineering

The scholarship will provide a stipend of 400 EUR per month for two years (standard study period of Master’s studies - altogether 20 months). The only exception is Information Technology Law which is a 1-year programme and thus the stipend is paid for one year (10 months). The scholarship does not cover tuition fee. However, in all programmes listed above there are tuition-waivers available for the best applicants (allocated based on admissions ranking lists).

There will be 12 stipends available.

How to apply?

Applicants are required to meet all admission requirements and submit the full package of application documents (please find more information on the website of your chosen study programme). All applicants from target countries applying for the eligible programmes are automatically considered for the scholarships. Scholarships are allocated to the best applicants based on the admissions ranking lists (each programme separately). Only well motivated candidates with good academic performance and properly prepared admission package will be considered. The students who have not graduated by the admission deadline are still eligible, provided that the rest of the admission documents are properly prepared.

Announcement of results
The results will be announced together with the admissions notifications in May 2017.
