The International Year One is an intensive one-year course that is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree. It will prepare you for joining the second year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Lincoln.

This course aims to teach you the English language, study and research skills you need to succeed in your undergraduate degree, as well as your career once you graduate.

Choose from four subject routes:

Structure

The routes are modular in structure. You will study a combination of core and subject-specific modules designed to focus on the academic area most relevant to your chosen degree.

Assessment

You will be assessed regularly throughout the course, through coursework assignments, exams, presentations, essays and case studies.

Progression to Your Degree

Once you complete the programme and achieve the required grades, you can enter the second year of your chosen undergraduate degree at the University.
