TestPlant is an international software business based in London. It has development centres in the USA and the UK with sales and support centres in the USA, the UK and Asia as well as an extensive network of business partners. The company has shown rapid revenue growth organically and through the acquisitions of Redstone Software and Facilita. TestPlant’s products are used in over 30 countries by well over 300 enterprise customers in sectors which include Financial Services, Automotive, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Media and Entertainment, Retail and Defence and Aerospace. The eggPlant range is a set of software quality tools which supports the design, development, test and management of software applications for mainframe, desktop and mobile use in any technology platform environment.

Candidates for the TestPlant Scholarship must:

  • Be intelligent, bold and ambitious.
  • Demonstrate a passion for technology, improvement and innovation.
  • Have an IT-related degree from a recognised University and with a grade equivalent to at least an Upper Second Honours.
  • GMAT of at least 600.
  • At least three years’ work experience in a managerial role in a high-technology company. Demonstrate evidence of success in solving customer IT problems.

It is anticipated that the successful Scholar would undertake a paid internship or consulting project with TestPlant as a part of their MBA programme, between June and September. However, this would be subject to satisfactory academic performance on the taught part of the MBA and also subject to a suitable internship opportunity or consulting project becoming available within the company.

Candidates can only apply for a scholarship once they have received an offer (conditional or unconditional) to join the MBA programme and have either firmly accepted the offer or be intending to do so.

The scholarships will be deducted from tuition fees. Applicants who are sponsored by their employer or are in receipt of a full scholarship are not eligible for these scholarships.

If an applicant is successful in being awarded a scholarship, but subsequently declines their offer of admission to the MBA, the scholarship will be withdrawn and awarded to another applicant. An award will be withdrawn if a student fails to meet the conditions set by the University.

Recipients of scholarships will be expected to participate occasionally as ambassadors for the MBA programme and the Business School during and after their programme.

Successful applicants enrolled on the Executive MBA will receive half the amount of the scholarship awarded in each of the two years of the programme.

How to apply

If you wish to be considered for a scholarship you should submit a scholarship application form as soon as possible after receipt of an offer of a place on our MBA.

We will make decisions on a rolling basis beginning at the end of April, based on applications received by each date. Apply early to increase your chances of being considered for an award.

You will be notified of the result of your scholarship application within a month of the deadline.  To secure a scholarship, the successful applicant must have paid their programme deposit within two weeks of being offered the scholarship.
