“Teach For Armenia” Leadership Development Program Fellowship 2020, Armenia
Overview
“Teach for Armenia” recruits the most committed and exceptional candidates from Armenia and Diaspora to serve as Teacher-Leaders (“Fellows”) for 2 years in most underserved areas of Armenia.
Upon successful completion of recruitment and training process, Teacher-Leaders participate in a two-year Leadership Development Program where they develop the knowledge, skills and mindset to improve student achievement and leadership in classrooms, and simultaneously run community development initiatives to mobilize and empower communities.
After this two-year period, Teacher-Leaders are inducted as Ambassadors and streamlined into employment in strategic sectors that form the foundation of a movement for educational equity across Armenia.
Presently, “Teach for Armenia” is represented in more than 100 partnering schools across 7 regions in Armenia and in Artsakh. Till now, the program has had 5 generations of Fellows, of which more than 80 have completed the two-year program and taken a professional path. Currently our daily impact involves 14000 school-children in Armenia and Artsakh.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Teach For Armenia Leadership Development Program, you must:

Obtain a Bachelor’s degree before or by July 2020 (if still studying)

Be fluent in Armenian and possess strong speaking and writing skills

Have commitment of full-time two-year involvement (teaching term from July 2020- June 2022)
