The school focuses on the performance and governance of services of general interests and in particular on six core sectors: Electricity, Gas, Telecommunications, Railways, Local Public Transport, Water and Waste Water.

ORGANISERS AND SELECTION COMMITEE
The Summer School is organised in the framework of the project “Services of general interest in the EU: A citizens’ perspective on public versus private provision” (EUsers network), which is financed by the action Jean Monnet Networks of the Erasmus + programme. Members of the EUsers network will be responsible for the selection of participants. An international high-profile faculty of experts will offer a combination of theoretical understanding, practical knowledge and policy discussion. Lecturers include: Sebastien Bumbolo (Adriatic LNG), Carlo Fiorio (Università degli Studi di Milano), Massimo Florio (Università degli Studi di Milano), Torben Holvad (European Railway Agency), Thomas Kostal (WU Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien), Jane Lethbridge (University of Greenwich), Arnold Picot (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitaet, Munich), Steven Thomas (Greenwich University).
