The Borealis Social Fund Scholarship
The Borealis Social Fund Scholarship has been made available to Webster Vienna Private University by the generosity of the Webster Vienna's new Partner in Education, Borealis AG. The Borealis Social Fund Scholarship carries a full tuition award for one incoming undergraduate student with outstanding academic excellence and proven financial need who will begin his or her studies in the Fall 1 term in August, 2016.
Value: One scholarship covering full tuition; renewable annually up to a total of 4 years. Books are included in tuition. Housing costs and tuition-related fees (lab fees, graduation fees, etc.) are not covered by this scholarship.
Eligibility: A newly accepted undergraduate student with a minimum GPA of 3.5 on the American, 4-point scale (see FAQs). Applicants must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and outstanding spoken and written English above the English as a Second Language level, as well as provide evidence of financial need via their scholarship application submission. Transfer students are not eligible to apply for this award.
Conditions: Must be enrolled full-time (24 credits/year undergraduate) and maintain a GPA of 3.5 each semester for renewal.
Wien Kultur Scholarship
The following scholarship has been made available to Webster Vienna Private University by the generosity of the City of Vienna for one undergraduate or graduate student beginning in the Fall 1 term in August, 2016. The City of Vienna Division of Cultural Affairs Scholarship is a highly selective scholarship that provides a merit scholarship to exceptional Austrian students with a history of academic excellence and outstanding extracurricular achievement. Webster Vienna would like to thank the City of Vienna Division of Cultural Affairs for their on-going, generous support of this scholarship.
Value: One scholarship of € 6,000 per year; renewable annually up to a total of 4 years (undergraduate) or for 2.5 years (graduate).
Eligibility: A newly accepted undergraduate or graduate student who is an Austrian citizen, holds an Austrian Matura, and who has a minimum GPA of 3.0. Applicants must demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and outstanding spoken and written English above the English as a Second Language level. Transfer students are not eligible to receive this award.
Conditions: Must be enrolled full-time (24 credits/year undergraduate, 12 credits/year graduate) and maintain a GPA of 3.0 each semester for renewal.

Scholarship applications MUST contain the following documents:
- Webster Vienna Scholarship Application submitted by the deadline June 15, 2016.
- A 1000-1200 word essay on one of the two topics provided.
- Official documentation (see above & checklist pg.5), officially translated into English if necessary, should be mailed to the scholarship coordinator.
