General Information
The National University of Science and Technology MISiS is a leading Russian technical university and research center located in Moscow, Russia. In 2014 NUST MISiS was ranked among the top 100 universities in the BRICS countries by QS. Our areas of expertise in technical fields include Materials Science, Physics, Nanotechnology, Metallurgy, and Mining. Through the federal government-sponsored Program to Increase the Competitiveness of NUST MISiS Among World-Leading Scientific Educational Centers, we are pleased to offer a full-tuition scholarship plus stipend to full-time international students interested in studying in one of our English-medium master’s program in a scientific or engineering field. Below is the list of eligible master’s program:

- Multicomponent Nanostructured Coatings. Nanofilms

Eligibility
- English-speaking international students* who would like to pursue a degree in an engineering or scientific field of study
- Applicants must hold a bachelor’s diploma or higher in a related field
Scholarship Benefits
- Free tuition to the National University of Science and Technology MISiS to study in one of our Russian- or English-medium master's programs
- Priority for rooms in student residence halls (ranked #1 among all residence hall facilities in Moscow!)
- A stipend that student will use to cover housing
- A stipend that student will use to pay for mandatory health insurance (if not covered by home country or institution)
- Funds amounting to 23 000 rubles per month
List of Required Application Documents
- Completed application
- Color passport photo
- Two letters of recommendation
- Statement of Purpose letter in English
- Copy of transcript(s) plus a certified/notarized Russian translation(s) of educational document(s)
- Copy of diploma; and a certified/notarized Russian translation of the diploma. And, if applicable, a copy (and Russian translation) of any diploma supplement
- Copy of biographical information page of the passport which you will use to enter the Russian Federation, with a validity date not less than 18 months from the start date on the academic entry visa
- Copies of certificates for scientific achievements (if applicable)
- List of publications (if applicable)
