For all prospective postgraduates interested in an MPhil at the University of Bristol: we are delighted to announce the 2017/18 Morgan Scholarship.

Thanks to the generosity of Neill and Catrin Morgan, the Institute of Greece, Rome, and the Classical Tradition at the University of Bristol will offer an MPhil scholarship of £5,500 in 2017/18 for a student working on any topic in the ancient Greco-Roman world or its reception. The scholarship will be offered to a student who has been accepted for a one-year MPhil or for the first year of a PhD.

This award is open to full-time and part-time, Home/EU and Overseas applicants. Overseas applicants may use the amount as part payment of their tuition fees.

To be considered, you must have received an offer of a place at the University of Bristol and accepted it by Monday 8 May 2017. If you have already applied to Bristol for Masters study, you will automatically be considered, and do not need to apply again.
