> About Polixis Based in Geneva, Switzerland, Polixis is a leading Swiss company providing specialized research and consultancy on Political, Country, Compliance and Regulatory risks in emerging markets to a client base drawn mainly from Banking, Financial and Risk Management industries.
> Position and Location We are looking for an experienced Analyst with proven experience in producing and/or editing in English high quality research covering country, political and financial topics. The position will be based in Yerevan, Armenia.
>Tasks The research duties will include the following: Coordination, processing and editing of weekly research coming from local (mainly CIS based) country analysts; Writing of analytical notes and research on political, regulatory, sanction and other risk related topics covering the CIS; Reviewing research for publication and overseeing weekly publication processes. Successful candidates will be expected to participate in the development of other product lines and services offered by the company.
> Your profile
Knowledge of native or close to native English is a key element for the position. Excellent writing skills and existence of proven high quality research/publications in English covering the country, political, economic or financial risk related topics. Previous experience in journalism and/or experience within banking/finance environment and a good understanding of the fundamentals and functioning of Risk & Compliance, Asset Management, Private Banking and Commodity Trade Finance industries will be considered as a key asset. Knowledge of Adobe Indesign publishing software is another major asset.
> Education MA and/or PhD in Political Science, Law, International Relations, or Journalism
