Pre-enrolment evaluation for students with non-Italian educational qualifications

All applicants who hold a non-Italian University Entrance qualification (UEQ) (for enrolment in a Bachelor’s programme), or a non-Italian academic qualification (for enrolment in a Master’s programme), must request a preliminary online evaluation of their qualifications and high school syllabus before enrolling in any Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree programme.

Students can apply for an evaluation of no more than ONE Degree programme. They must submit all the required documents using this online procedure.

All information for Degree programmes is available at the following webpage:

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree programmes

Evaluation procedure step-by-step

  1. Applicants must first prepare their documents in PDF format;
  2. Go to the online procedure where applicants will be required to submit their personal details, details of their qualifications, and their intended study programme. During this procedure you will be required to create a temporary Italian taxpayer identification code (“codice fiscale”) and you will be linked to a specific page in order to do so. Please note that this procedure does NOT create your official Italian taxpayer code and cannot be used for any other purpose.
  3. Attach all required documentation.
  4. The Degree Programme Committee (“Collegio Didattico”) will verify that you have all the requisites necessary for enrolment.
  5. Results of the selection will be published by each Department on their own websites, and for any Additional Learning Requirements that must be fulfilled you will be contacted. Only non-EU students residing abroad will be informed by e-mail.
  6. Once your evaluation has been successful you can continue with the enrolment process (see the Step-by-Step enrolment procedures for Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees for more details).

Please note: a positive online evaluation does not equate to enrolment. To complete enrolment all original documentation must be handed in and any admission tests (for limited access programmes) must be successfully completed.
