Scholarships Programs

At Emirates Aviation University we are keen to assist students in achieving their goals for a successful career in the aviation industry.

We offer a range of scholarships designed to assist academically distinguished students and those with limited financial resources. These include the Chancellor's Scholarship and Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship, as well as fee discounts for dependents of the Emirates Group, Corporate and University staff, and siblings of current students.

Chancellor's Scholarship

Chancellor's Scholarship are limited to ten prospective students in each academic year.

Newly admitted full-time students on undergraduate programmes (academic and applied/vocational) may apply for the highly competitive Chancellor’s Scholarship, which covers up to 100%, hundred percent, of the EAU tuition fees (not including the registration and textbook fees or fees paid to an external partner for dual award programmes and other charges), provided that they have achieved a minimum cumulative average of 95% Ninety Five percent, or equivalent in the last year of their secondary education, with IELTS 6 academic or equivalent. Newly admitted full-time students on postgraduate programmes may also apply for the Chancellor’s Scholarship provided that they have a minimum CGPA of 3.8/4.0 in the credit hour system, First Class in the British System or its equivalent with IELTS 7 academic or equivalent at their bachelor degree.

Students who apply for the Chancellor’s Scholarship are expected to demonstrate outstanding personal qualities and the ability to contribute to the University and community. The Chancellor’s Scholarship is awarded only in the First (Fall) semester of each academic year.

Application forms are available at the Admission and Registration Office. Completed application forms must be submitted, with the required supporting documents, to the Admission and Registration Office by the deadline announced prior to the admission start date for the particular Fall semester. Applicants will be asked to appear for interviews and/or take a University test, where applicable, before a final decision is made by the EAU Vice-Chancellor.

Students who are awarded the Chancellor’s Scholarship must sustain an excellent academic standing (minimum CGPA of 3.8 in the academic programmes or its equivalent in the applied/vocational programmes) throughout their study at EAU to maintain their entitlement for the scholarship.

The Chancellor’s Scholarships are limited to ten new students in each academic year.

  • Documents required in support of a Chancellor’s Scholarship application:
  1. A copy of the EAU offer letter to the programme of study.
  2. A copy of the relevant qualification required for admission to the programme.
  3. The applicant may also submit any other supporting documents.

Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship

Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship are limited to 100 students in each academic year.

Newly admitted students on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes (academic and applied/vocational) who are not awarded or do not qualify for the Chancellor’s Scholarship, may apply for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship, which may cover up to 50%, fifty percent, of the tuition fee. To qualify for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship, newly admitted students must have a minimum cumulative average of 90%, ninety percent, or equivalent in the last year of their secondary education, with IELTS 6 academic or equivalent.

Continuing students who achieve a CGPA 3.6/4.0, or its equivalent (first class) may apply for a Vice Chancellor Scholarship.

Newly admitted full-time students on postgraduate programmes may also apply for the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship provided that they have a minimum CGPA of 3.6/4.0 or its equivalent, Upper Second Class in the British System or its equivalent with IELTS 7 academic or equivalent at their bachelor degree; or outstanding professional record.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships are granted by the EAU Vice-Chancellor in each year, based on merit, and are valid for that particular year. Students who are awarded the Vice-Chancellor Scholarship must sustain a very good academic standing (minimum CGPA of 3.6 in the academic programmes or its equivalent in the applied/vocational programmes) throughout their study at EAU to maintain their entitlement for the scholarship.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarships are limited to 100, hundred, scholarships per year.
