International Student Cost, Scholarships and Aid

Florida Tech offers academic scholarships, athletic scholarships, transfer scholarships, and grants to qualified international undergraduate students. International graduate students are eligible for the same graduate assistantships and fellowships available to U.S. students if enrolling in the Melbourne campus.

Scholarships And Financial Aid

Academic Scholarships

Partial academic or merit scholarships are based on an applicant's academic performance in high school (weighted GPA) and are determined at the time of admission. Merit scholarships require that recipients maintain a minimum cumulative 2.60 GPA at Florida Tech for annual renewal.

Panther Fund Merit Scholarship

All international applicants will be considered for a Panther Fund Merit Scholarship. Panther Fund Merit Scholarship awards for international students range in value but may cover up to $10,000 of tuition, regardless of financial need. Most applicants to Florida Tech are offered some level of merit award.

Athletic Scholarships

Florida Tech Athletic Scholarships (NCAA Division II) are awarded by individual coaches through the athletics department. Florida Tech offers scholarships in men's baseball, basketball, women's lacrosse, softball, soccer, swimming and rowing. Athletic scholarships are available to domestic (U.S.) and international students.

Transfer Scholarships

Florida Tech Transfer Scholarship

Up to $10,000 per year if the student’s cumulative GPA is 3.0 or higher at the university level. This scholarship cannot be combined with the Florida Tech Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship.

Florida Tech Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship

Up to $12,500 per year if the student applies and is admitted to Florida Tech and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. Proof of Phi Theta Kappa membership must be submitted at time of application. This scholarship cannot be combined with the Florida Tech Transfer Scholarship, but it may be combined with the FITS-STEM Scholarship.

Florida Tech Family Grants

Legacy Grant
Sons and daughters of Florida Tech alumni, enrolling in a full-time undergraduate program at Florida Tech, are eligible for a $2,500 grant. This award is renewable for up to four years. This award is given in addition to any merit scholarship earned by the student.

Family Grant
Sisters and brothers of students who are currently enrolled simultaneously as full-time undergraduates at Florida Tech are eligible for a $2,500 grant. This grant is renewable for up to four years. This grant is given in addition to any merit scholarship earned by the student. All sibling students, when enrolled at the same time, will receive this grant.
