Chinese Government Scholarship
University of Science and Technology Beijing provides a comprehensive scholarship system to the international students.
1. Apply through the Chinese embassy in your country between November and February. Applicants should choose “USTB” as the first choice when apply in the system. And applicants may contact us for Pre-Admission.
2. Apply to USTB directly between December 15 and April 15. Applicants should choose type B and agency number 10008 when applying in the system.
Application Criteria:
1. Non-Chinese citizens.
2. Applicants for master degree studies must have a bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35.
3. Applicants for doctoral degree studies must have a master’s degree and be under the age of 40.
Application Period:
December 15 to April 15
Details of the Scholarship:
1.Students are exempted from paying tuition fees and accommodation costs.
2.Monthly Living Allowance:
Master: CNY 3,000 Yuan
Doctor: CNY 3,500 Yuan
