INTERNATIONAL WINTER SCHOOL ON PUBLIC POLICY - ALPS EDITION
Following the success of the previous "Winter School edition, Grenoble 2017", the 2nd edition will be held in January, 7 - 11 , 2019 with the support of IDEX Lyon.
The main objective of this International Winter School is to provide advice and knowledge on Public Policy theories, concepts and methodologies to analyze public policy to PhD students and young scholars.
Courses & lectures in the morning will be alternated with workshops in the afternoon. All lectures, courses, and workshops will be given by International scholars, such as Claudio Radaelli, Frank Fischer, Grace Skogstad, Nikolaos Zahariadis and Philippe Zittoun (more information coming soon).
The Call for application is open. It is organised in 2 waves of application:
- from 20 August to 1 October 2018 : call for application
- from 2 October to 20 October 2018 : late call for application (selection depending on availability)
To ensure your participation to the Winter School, we strongly advise you to apply as soon as possible.
Results of Call for Applications:
- 3 October : results of the first call for application
- 23 October : final results of the call for application
Payment deadline: 31 October (possibility to pay in 1 to 3 times)
Each PhD student and young scholar will have the opportunity to follow:
Five 1-hour lectures from 3 different International scholars to obtain an overview of specific approaches, concepts, and theories
One 10-hour course by an International scholar on a specific issue. Each group will have 20 students and each student can choose his or her course
One 10-hour workshop with a small group of 10 to 15 participants to discuss participants' research projects or project of article. Each project will be discussed from 45 minutes to 1h.
