Università Politecnica Delle Marche (UNIVPM) offers 7 (seven) scholarships to foreign students, as defined below, enrolling to the Master’s Degree Course in International Economics and Commerce (2nd cycle) in Academic Year 2018/2019. Shall be considered to be foreign students any student with a citizenship other than Italian, including Italian citizens having an additional citizenship. Enrollment is understood to mean initial enrollment to the first year of the Master’s Degree Course. Enrollments in any academic year beyond the first, transfers and changes of courses will not be considered valid. Scholarship winners enrolling to the Università Politecnica delle Marche cannot be enrolled at the same time in other Italian or foreign universities or in other courses of the Università Politecnica delle Marche. Each scholarship is awarded for one academic year (with possibility of extension to the second year depending on availability of funds) and amounts to the overall sum of € 7.200,00 gross of all charges for the beneficiary’s account. Università Politecnica delle Marche runs a limited number of facilities to accommodate students. During the scholarship period students will benefit from accommodation in one of the above mentioned facilities depending on availability. Should accommodation not be available in one of the facilities run by the University, the amount of the scholarship for one academic year is raised to € 8.500,00 gross of all charges for the beneficiary’s account. Scholarship holders will also benefit from a tuition fee waiver with the only exception of a regional tax whose amount is € 140,00 and a stamp duty of € 16,00.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
In order to be eligible, candidates must:
- be foreign citizens;
- have applied for admission to the first year of the Master’s Degree Course in International Economics and Commerce for academic year 2018/2019 by 15th June 2018, according to the on line procedure available on the website and have been admitted to the course by the Admission Committee.
APPLICATIONS
Students who have applied for admission to the Master’s Degree Course within 15th June 2018 will have to sign and submit the FLOR scholarship application form by 15th June 2018 at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) CET. The application form is attached to the present notice of call. Applications must be submitted within 15th June 2018 at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) CET, exclusively through the online procedure available at the following link: http://moduli.econ.univpm.it/iec/. Applications received after the deadline or applications received through other means (fax, email, post) or incomplete of all the required documents will not be considered eligible. Students who do not apply for admission to the Master Degree course within 15th June 2018 at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) CET will not be allowed to apply for the scholarship. At any time through a substantiated decision Università Politecnica delle Marche is entitled to exclude those applications who do not comply with the requirements of the Call.
EVALUATION CRITERIA
The Admission Committee of the Master’s Degree Course will assess the applications on the basis of the following critiria:
- academic performance;
- curriculum vitae including learning and working experiences;
- motivation letter;
- outcome of the admission interview.
