About ISC

Having behind three greatly successful student congresses from the last three years in a row, International Balkan University is delighted to announce that this year, the 5th international student congress will be held in Skopje, Macedonia. 

IBUISC'18

In order to keep the long tradition of the International Student Congress of International Balkan University (abbreviated as IBUISC’18), this Congress began with an idea from students for students. As the IBUISC’18 is expanding year by year, this year’s congress will be organized on a university level.

Students

The purpose of the Congress is to gather 80 international and a number of domestic students that are going to present and discuss the contemporary issues of today and share their researchers and knowledge related to a variety of topics offered by our faculties.

  • New Trends in Formal and Informal Teaching

Students are invited to submit their abstract and become part of IBUISC’18. The abstract should contain a clear outline of theoretical framework, the theme or the work in discussion. The text of the abstracts should be submitted in English ONLY, and it should a maximum of 350 words. The panels should not exceed six people and six different abstracts and should be prepared by each member of that specific panel. Submission of the abstracts shall be done directly by attaching it to the Online Application Form. Also we would like for you to keep in mind that the Congress is open to Bachelor, Master as well as PhD students and also not to forget certain important dates:

Timeline

  • Deadline for submission of abstracts: 10 June 2018
  • Announcement for accepted papers: 15 June 2018
  • Deadline for submission of full paper: 15 July 2018
  • 5th IBUISC 2018 Congress: 4-5 October 2018
