THE EDUCATIONAL-CULTURAL LIFE IN THE PERIOD OF THE FIRST REPUBLIC OF ARMENIA

INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE

On May 15-16 a conference on “The Educational-Cultural Life in the Period of the First Republic of Armenia” will be held dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Republic of Armenia and the 90th anniversary of the establishment of “Hamazkayin” Educational and Cultural Society in the scientific conference hall of YSU. The conference is organized with the efforts of Yerevan State University, “Hamazkayin” Educational and Cultural Society and National Academy of Sciences of the RA.  

The purpose of the conference is to study literary and cultural life and its features during the First Republic. Its foremost consentration is the state policy in scientific and educational fields, including the general educational system, higher education institutions and their educational activities, as well as the development of various branches of science and basic scientific achievements, the media and published works, the assessment of spiritual and cultural figures of the First Republic, the activity of enlightened teachers and the influence of educational and cultural life on the future history of the diaspora.

The deadline of application of theses for the conference is March 15, 2018. The deadline of application of reports is April 1, 2018.

Venue of the Conference:

Scientific Conference Hall of YSU, 5th floor of Yerevan State University Central Building, Alex Manoogian str., Yerevan

Requirements:

The reports should be submitted in memory sticks (Text: Word, pictures: TIFF or high resolution JPG). The language of reports is Armenian. The reports should have an abstract (in English, about 300 words).

1. Font: Armenian – Sylfaen, English – Times New Roman

2. The first and last name (uppercase) of the reporter, the title (uppercase) should be noted on the top of the report, the scientific title and rank, place of work, the post and the e-mail address of the reporter should be noted at the bottom of the report.

3. The references should be in the footnotes in growing order, font size – 10, the author of the source, title, volume, place of publication, year of publication (the number of the issue in case of journals) and the page should be noted.

4. To note 10 keywords in Armenian and English.
