The "Ludwig Boltzmann" fellow is also encouraged, and supported, to participate in activities in developing countries in order to promote the mission of the ICTP.

ICTP offers internationally competitive remuneration and a number of benefits including a pension contribution and special allowances for family members. The take-home salary will start from 2,700 Euro monthly, depending on the seniority of the applicant. The "Ludwig Boltzmann" appointment will be made for three years, with the possibility of renewal for two more years. Preference will be given to applicants in the areas of expertise of the CMSP group. For details on research areas please visit the CMSP web page.
