University of Sussex St. Kovachev Scholarship in MSc Economics
The University is delighted to offer the St. Kovachev Scholarship to encourage a student to pursue a degree in economics.
A SPRU alumnus, Ivo St Kovachev, has generously given this scholarship for one student in MSc International Economics or MSc Economics. He is providing the tuition fees for a Home/EU student of£7,500 for the 2016/2017 academic year, plus £2,500 towards maintenance costs.
The aim of the scholarship is to support a student to undertake our excellent MSc Economics courses.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a UK/EU national who has been accepted the MSc International Economics or MSc Economics degree programmes.
Application procedure
A 500 word (maximum) application, setting-out how this Scholarship can make a difference to your achievement on the Economics course and your potential once you have graduated.

Further information
You are free to hold another University or non-Unversity award so long as the additional award does not provide funding for tuition fees, as this scholarship covers the MSc course tuition fees.
You will be required to sign the Scholars Agreement, which requires a thank you to the donor, and submission of an annual report at the end of the MSc degree programme. You should also cite the donors support in your dissertation.
