We are looking forward to receiving your online application until end of March 2016.

OMV launched the 'Scholarship for Women in Technology' in 2012 to specifically encourage women to take up technical professions and to raise the ratio of female graduates in technical fields of study in the long term. Running since the fall of 2012, the scholarships provide financial and practical support each year to female technical students for the duration of the bachelor program. The beneficiaries are supported to the tune of 350 euro per month. Alongside that, OMV provides the opportunity to complete various internships and assists with the thesis.

In addition to an enthusiasm for technology, requirements for the applicant include a completed high school diploma and verifiable start date for a technical degree program in Austria, preferably at the Montan University Leoben, the University of Vienna, the University of Technology of Vienna, Graz or Linz.

2016 5 beneficiaries are selected in the course of an assessment center, where the technophile students have the opportunity to introduce themselves and personally convince OMV of their motivation for studying. The input of the students is merely their academic success. There are no repayment obligations whatsoever.
