Our English programs
Students with a conditional offer from one of our partner universities - http://www.hollandisc.com/partner-universities can study one of the following programs:
- Three-term English Foundation Programme • Entry IELTS 5.0 or above • Intended exit IELTS 6.5
- Two-term English Foundation Programme • Entry IELTS 5.0 or above • Intended exit IELTS 6.0
Three-term English Foundation Programme
The Holland International Study Centre (ISC) offers a three-term program running from October to June with an entry-level of IELTS 5.0 minimum and a targeted exit level of IELTS 6.5. Students who successfully complete the program can progress to a degree program at one of our partner universities.
Course facts
This program focuses on key areas including:
- expanding your vocabulary
- improving your listening and writing skills
- increasing conversational skills
- developing reading and self-study skills
- improving pronunciation and knowledge of grammar
There are 12 contact hours every week, over four days. You are also expected to do a minimum of 6-8 hours of self-study per week, practice your theory and undertake homework.
Assessment
After four weeks, there will be a mid-term test of writing and speaking. At the end of the program, you will be required to take an IELTS test to ensure you have reached the required English language level to progress to your chosen university.

To join the English Foundation Programme you will need to obtain a conditional offer letter from one of our partner universities.
