Applications are invited for six PhD positions at the Universities of Stuttgart and Tübingen. Applicants are expected to have a masters degree in mathematics or physics with excellent grades. In addition we expect a specialization in applied analysis or mathematical physics. These are 3-year positions without teaching load. The salaries are on the usual level for PhD students at German universities. As this Research Training Group is committed to the promotion of gender equality in science and academia, qualified women are especially encouraged to apply.
The regular appointment date is Octoberl 1st 2016, but earlier appointment dates in 2016 are possible.
