The Political Science Department at Central European University, Budapest (http://politicalscience.ceu.edu), is hiring two short-term faculty (PhD required). We seek a political scientist and a scholar of political communication interested in a junior visiting faculty position for one semester or one academic year (September 2016-June 2017).
We are aiming to fill two positions
• Someone, who can teach postgraduate courses in Comparative Politics and supervise MA theses.
• Someone, who can teach postgraduate courses on political communication and/or politics and media, as well as supervise MA theses on similar topics.

Appointments can be for one semester or the entire academic year 2016/17. Applicants are encouraged to indicate the period of their availability in a cover letter. The normal teaching load at CEU is three classes (each class meets twice a week for 100 minutes, during 12 weeks) per academic year, plus MA thesis supervision. The precise amount of credits to be taught by the successful candidate is subject to negotiations.
