Posting Summary

The Rutgers Center for Historical Analysis announces a post-doctoral position for scholars pursuing research in African American History, 1940-present. The successful applicant must have the doctorate in hand at the time of application and be no more than six years beyond the PhD. The position, with a salary of $65,000, is for one year. It includes health benefits and a $5,000 research allowance. The primary duties of this post-doc will be to administer and supervise research, writing, digitizing and editing of the “Scarlet and Black Project” on the history of Native and African Americans in Rutgers History.
