On September 1, 2017, Russian-Armenian University and the SAP University Alliances will sign an agreement on joining RAU to the program. Along with SAP technology activities, RAU will host a lecture “Digital Future with SAP: from the Internet of Things to Virtual Reality”.
SAP Next-Gen Lab, a center of innovation and networking, will be launched based in Russian-Armenian University, where in addition to studying technology, students will work on the projects of SAP partners and clients from Armenia, the CIS and from around the world.
RAU will be the first university in Armenia to enter the SAP University Alliances program. The university will also become one of the participants of the SAP EMEA Academic Conference Karlsruhe, which will be held on September 11-15 in Karlsruhe, Germany. The conference will provide the participants with an opportunity to get acquainted with other members of the Alliances and innovative community SAP Next-Gen in the EMEA region, as well as quickly immerse in the SAP Leonardo program to prepare the curriculum.
The SAP University Alliances aims to introduce students and teachers to SAP software and technologies for digital transformation of the economy and business, including solutions for the Internet of things, big data, blocking, analytics, robotics, machine learning, virtual, augmented and mixed reality. The goal of the program is to develop technical and managerial skills by introducing SAP solutions in the education process of the participating universities and colleges. Today the program involves more than 3300 educational institutions from 106 countries. With Russian-Armenian University, 9 out of 11 CIS countries will have joined the global academic program.
